About Price Inspector

Price Inspector helps you compare prices on everyday products before you buy. We bring offers from different retailers together in one place, so you can see what’s available in your budget without checking each store yourself.

What you’ll find here

Across our product categories you’ll find:

  • Buying guides that explain the differences that matter: sizes, types, features worth paying for and features you can skip.
  • Product pages with key specifications, who a product suits, who might want to skip it, and how it compares with similar models.
  • Price comparisons showing current offers from the retailers we work with.

Where our information comes from

We don’t test products ourselves, and we don’t present anything as hands-on testing. Specifications come from manufacturer and retailer listings. When sources disagree, we leave the detail out rather than guess. The “who it suits” and “who should skip it” notes are our own reading of those specifications, not a lab result. They’re meant to help you narrow down a choice, and they don’t replace independent reviews.

Prices and availability

Prices and stock change often. The price shown on the retailer’s site when you buy is the one that applies, so always check the final price there before you buy.

How the site is funded

Price Inspector is free to use. We take part in affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates, which means we may earn a commission when you buy through links on this site, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, Price Inspector earns from qualifying purchases. Commissions don’t decide which products we include or how we describe them. You can read more on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
